1981 Sportfire

So I know it's been a while since i posted when i first got my mate over the winter. I'm finally making some progress! this is the boat formerly owned by leadfoot327 and 2 other members on the forum. The floor is 100% finished. I pulled the motor off of the transom, cleaned all the surfaces and resealed/ re mounted the jack plate to the transom. The rear seat is built and ready for upholstery. holes are cut and mounting places made for the speakers and stereo equipment. I rewired the gauges/dash and fixed/replaced the bad wiring going back to the motor. I also found a matching set of NOS quicksilver gauges to complete what was correct for the boat originally. im sure there are more odds and ends im forgetting but it is slowly but surely getting there! I also buffed a lot of the gelcoat out as it was faded/scuffed from being moved from shop to shop. I must say the gel on this boat is VERY nice for its age. here are a few pics of what it looks like currently.

Also if you can see the windshield was cracked sometime between the last time it was in the water and when i purchased the boat. if anyone has a windshield or knows where to get one please let me know. Thanks!!

Again this is the former boat owned by kct11, leadfoot327, and needafunboat. Taking it out on the water this weekend, I will try to get better pictures! Also the front seats will get new upholstery to match the rear seat in the winter. Wanted to use it at least a few times this year!
