Put in some hard hours this week (including Friday off work) to push myself to get the Convinsor (it has an S on my plate) ready for a Saturday launch on the Delaware.
After several coats of gelcoat on the cockpit floor and vberth, I was fitting the new interior all day Friday and applying reg numbers at 11pm by head torch with the missus for moral support!
Still needs some tidying (few bits of carpet, new bulkheads and side panels, but that won't stop me using it now!
Rolled out of home at 7:30am for a Lacrosse tournament near Princeton for my daughter. Plan was to leave there at 12 and get to the ramp for a 1-1:30 launch.
ChuckB was in the neighborhood and stopped over to help out and see the boat.
Knarloid family photo before we left the ramp.
Everything went great apart from 1 motors trim not responding from the helm switch (had to set at the engine before starting). Typically it started responding as we pulled it onto the trailer!
Stopped over to High Tides for some food and a celebratory beverage.
The best part about it is the family love the boat. PHEW!
