" For Sale" 1984 Enchanter w/Merc 2.4 200 Completely Original

It's time to liquidate a little. The garage is getting a little full so we are reluctantly selling.

We purchased the boat in fair condition with a bad cylinder last year, we wet sanded and buffed out the hull, we scrubbed the interior and treated it with 303 regularly all last summer. The power head was rebuilt by Cary's Mobile Marine in New Caney, TX. He shaved the heads to increase compression, added Chris Carson polyglass reeds, and finished it off with new electronics from CDI. As you will see the boat is in immaculate condition for it's age. It has dual cable steering, Tach, Speedo, Fuel, Temp and Water Pressure gauges. We also added a CMC 6" Manual Jack-Plate. The trailer is a custom welded bunk style with step platforms and new tires. It also comes with a generic fit trailerable cover that covers the entire boat and outboard cover to keep the cowling protected.

The boat registration numbers have been redone to match the color scheme of the boat if it happens to stay in OH.

The boat will run high 60's with 3-4 people, cooler, etc... I have seen 72 on GPS by myself.

The boat comes with a 25p Trophy Prop. It also gets around 4-5 mpg which is great for a boat.

This boat is completely original from top to bottom and you will be hard pressed to find another one like this.

We are asking $6500 for boat, motor and trailer. Based on all the above and what I've seen from looking around at other boats for sale we feel this a fair asking price. If you have any questions please let me know. We are also open to fair offers!

The boat is located in OH about 45 mins southwest of Pittsburgh. All the toys are registered at my parents in OH, it's much cheaper than PA.

Come on now Chris...

Here's a couple interior pics to give you an idea. It's in storage so they were a little difficult to get.

A beautiful boat... looks alot like a Predictor but bigger I guess ( I'm new to the Checkmate boats). Would be interested in how the bottom stand-offs for the swim ladder are fastened to the transom. Are they screwed or through-bolted? I want to put a swim ladder on a Predictor but don't see how the bottom stand-offs can be other than screws because of the foam flotation inside.
thanks,
Gary

In one of his posts above he states those have already been replaced with ones that match the boat :thumb:
