1984 Enticer, Help please.

Enticer

New member
I am seriously considering buying my first boat ever. I am looking at a 1984 Enticer with a 115 HP Evinrude TNT outboard. The Marina wants $5K for this boat. It is in beautiful condition, The interior looks brand new, there are a few scratches on the bottom side of the hull, I really want to buy this boat, but I don't have any idea if this is a reasonable price! I want the boat, but I don't want to pay too much. If anybody could help me I would really appreciate it. THANK YOU!

How many feet is it? Seems kinda high for a 1984 I have a 1988 16' Predictor w/ 115 Merc. I'm selling for around 4k. and I'm not a fan of the "even"rude

I agree, price seems high to me. Have the motor checked out real good. Darn things cost to much to rebuild.

I am in the automobile business so take it from me, if you want this boat badly, dont let the sales person know you want it that bad . Make an offer about 500 less than you really want to pay and see what they do. Ibought my mate for 5000 when they were asking 8 for it!

The motor is the key. It will probably determine the value of the boat. Find out what year it is, and get it checked over very carefully. A compression test is a must.

Happy searching!

If the motor checks out good those v-4 rudes are pretty tough and easy to maintain. I had a 115 jonny on my last boat and ran it 2 weekends with a broken ring.
