1997 Checkmate Convincer 253 27' I am the second owner and have owned this boat for 11 years it will be sad to let her go but its time for a larger boat do to a larger family. Boat is in good condition and as been well taken care of, comes with a 454 Magnum 385 Hp Bravo 1 drive, Corsa thru hall exhaust with silent choice (sounds amazing !) trim taps, electric engine hatch, Corsa gas cap, drop down bolster seats, 2 new batteries last year, new marine JBL stereo sub speakers and amps, snap in carpet's, sleeps 2 adults in the v berth and 2 children in the mid with fill cushions, porta potty, marine radio, 24 degree dead rise is what makes this boat amazing in the rough water handles anything Lake Ontario can throw at it. Cruises at 38 mph at 3,400 rpm very easy on fuel, tops out at 60 mph 4,800 rpm comes with 2 different props and all manuals. I have also kept a well documented captains log of all maintenance and upgrades over the last 11 years, $6500 spent on a complete engine rebuild less the 100hrs from Aliied marine power Mississauga (have receipts )
The hall design has been so successful with the Convincer Checkmate hasn't changed anything the 2012 looks identical to the 1997 comes with newer cover matching ropes and the trailer is included.
