i'm going with Ranger Bass boats.

I'VE CHECK ON THE NET..AND I DONT SEE CHECKMATE ON THE EXHIBITORS LIST FOR TORONTO BOAT SHOW..

Mate don't usually do many actual exhibits. They usually rely on their dealer network to represent them at the different shows.

I will be going to the show again this year, this time actually looking to purchase a new boat!!!

I always get a few extra tix thrown my way from a couple of marina operators I know well, so again, anyone living in Canada I would be happy to mail you a ticket or two -at no cost obviously! We'll call it a Christmas gift!! Just let me know if interested.

Hey Chris, hope you had a Merry Christmas, and everyone else too for that matter!

I won't be buying a Checkmate, I am still way too happy with the one I've got!

Looking to trade in a 1991 (or maybe even '92)22' Searay on a new 22' Chris Craft Launch. I love the new styles that Chris Craft have introduced and would like it to compliment the Checkmate. We want a nice cruising family boat, but will wait for the right price.

I will def. be taking a gander at the Lake and Trail display though. I will send ya the pics that I take of the Mates at the show to post.

Funny enough, I'd really like a Chris Craft Speedster. I eyeball them all the time. Pirate Cove in perth has one on the Auto Trader right now. No price is listed though. Those things are really kewl looking, I love the retro style. They are by far the best looking family I/O's on the water. After Checkmate of course.

Merry Christmas to you too BP.

Nice looking boats, but for the PRICE you can get a lot more boat with other brands. The chris craft line is overpriced imho

Maybe, but they really have a cool look to them. And they'll do 60ish with a small block, which is pretty good.

They're expensive though!

I love the retro, James Dean's Porsche look to the Chris Craft....I test drove the Speedster (had it alone actually for a few hours - dealer's a friend of mine) and it is great but still a bit small....the windshield only comes up to your chin, if you're lucky, and the wind is too much....it's also just a bit too small for any bit of choppy weather as I discovered...the 22' Launch with a Merc 320 is a beauty, 60mph for some zip and a perfect cruising boat....we'll see what happens at the Show I guess....

The Daytona Beach, Fl. boat show is in a couple weeks. I'll be taking 4 new mates and a bunch of Liberator tunnel boats there. There's not a single sportboat or performance boat dealer at the entire show. Nothing but white fish boats, cruisers, and Dorky bowriders. Hopefully I'll sell a few. This is my first boatshow, and my first year selling Checkmates.

Good luck Wildman! If you're the lone hot boat provider, then you'll attract a crowd!
