270 convincor hull ?

Why does where the transom and hull bottom meet have an angled what looks to be 45*? It's a 2002 and also has notched transom which I'm aware of that advantages.

Dont have a answer to this. Dont know how to measure it.

What speed are you running with your set up?

I think it should run almost 70mph, but only have an hour of seat time. I purchased in October when the season was over. Just need to wait until spring.

What's yours run?
 
I believe it just makes it easier to remove it from the mold.

That’s what I believe, I remember the subject being brought up with kip and his answer was that and hard to keep that corner sharp and debris free in the mold
 
Its also for more speed as the mix air/water is going to be better for drag. Its little but it helps. The later convinsors have them. 2000 and up.
