" For Sale" 79 Trans Am, gold special edition

Roberts Marine

Active member
This is a survivor car with 88k actual miles. It has the 403 Olds engine, auto trans, A/C. Cruise control is aftermarket, and the rear window louvers are not original to the car. I don't know if they are after market or Pont. parts. $16,500 OBO

Congratulations on the sale, did you sell it local?

I bet you here this all the time, but let us know if you plan to sell either of your 71's.
I'm restoring a 73 right now and would be rather tempted by a nice 71.

It was on an online auction and I believe it is going to New York. My other two are both 1970 with the RAIII 400. Every thing is for sale . The white one will need to go when it is done. Looking for around 60K. My blue one I have had for over 40 years. If I sold it I would have to build something really custom. It has not been restored just maintained be me for 40 years. There is also a 79 Silver Anniversary Edition in the barn with the 400 Pontiac engine and a 4spd. It is all there but has been sitting in a barn for 20 years and needs to be restored. Engine runs, that's as far as I have gotten.
