Hello new member here. Recently picked up this Eluder
With 470 I/O. Don't know much about the boat. Seems to
Be all there and in good shape. Took it out before they closed all the lakes around me. And drove great. Any Texas guys around here with Checkmate's have any info or input let me know

:welcome:Welcome to the Forum. You found a great place for info and input. As soon as you get a chance post some pics of your new found ride. Everyone on here loves to see pictures. I'm sure someone will give you the the low down on how to post pictures, but you can do it through FB or Photobucket. Enjoy your toy.:thumb: Jim

:welcome: Fellow Texan!!! I am currently checkless but congrats on the new boat. There is a lot of good information on here and plenty of people that know their stuff.

Thanks guys,
First boat that I ever bought. Don't even know that
Much about Checkmate's except for I have always
Liked their stance in the water. Still kinda new to the whole
Boating world, and may need to advance to a bigger boat
As it seems I have to take the family with me and not get
To relive my youthful ways. Sure not wanting to part with it yet
She is alot of fun.

I would Keep it for a while and learn the boat and boating ways before getting into a bigger Boat. This way your learning curve on the bigger boat will be less.
