83' Checkmate 23 ft

83 Checkmate offshore for sale. It is a project boat but is pretty popular. The engine was rebuilt by previous owner and has low hours. been bored .060 over w/new heads installed. The block was updated to a 1990 and comes with power pack, distributor and stator, coil packs for each cylinder. Compression 89-95 psi. I have new decals for engine cowl. Has new fuel filter, fuel primer, plug wires, ignition switch, battery. Cockpit has no interior except one pedestal and a seat. Needs floor n floatation foam. I’ve cut out almost the bad floor and have started cutting through to get to the holes on the inside for repair. I have stripped the cabins carpet and under dash walls(kept them for dimensions for new walls) Prop needs seals replaced water in oil. There are 4 holes in the keel a couple are about 3 in long others not big. Comes with alum tank not hooked up. Trailer bearings are out. I use small tank to start engine. The trailer has new wires, led taillights, connector,and 1 roller. Tires have good tread but weather cracked. No title for boat but I do for engine n trailer. I’m asking $700. would you have an idea of what i could sale it for if i had the holes completely fixed? I know it would sale faster but i may just lose a bunch of money

Without seeing pics, I'd say you would have a ton of time and money into getting it water ready. Really, the only value you have right now is the motor. But, if it runs good, you won't have a problem selling that. Maybe put some time and elbow grease into making it look as good as you can.
