1988 checkmate 251 convincer with 454 mag engine. Here is an excellent condition checkmate convincer with 454 mag and gill marine headers. Boat is stock other than that and is great condition. Boat has a cabin with porta potti with vhf radio and a great stero with 2 8" subs and amp and docking lights.. Boat also comes with a dual axle shoreline trailer with surge brakes. Boat has full cover and a drive shower and nose cone. A great rough water boat that is a blast to drive! 616-889-6593. No trades!

Yeah, those and the swim platforms aren't my cup of tea but a few minutes with a pipe cutter will fix the tips and a few with a screw gun can fix the platforms.

Agree on both points ---- a real nice lookin boat nevertheless.

i knew someone would say that......if it had similar power, the sunpad wasn't 1.5" thick, the ladder wasnt bent, had upgraded dash, wheel,stereo, and upholstery it would be.....and when i decide to list mine it wont be for 10k. shoot my exhaust is worth dang neer that:popcorn:





and a little bling for ya.....by the way its all been re-built and going in the boat as we speak

i am going out this weekend to break the motor in with a few other buddies and there boats. if everything is good with the motor i might decide to list it not sure yet. the only reason for selling the boat(if i do) is because we want something bigger:sssh:

droptop, you have seen this boat on cumberland 2 years ago.....
 
Those pipes are ugly, but they keep it quiet at slow speeds. In that area of Michigan, they are all over noisy boats.
 
I bought this boat one month ago from a family in sterling heights michigan.
The boat is in close to new condition and I love it
It is not a stock motor by any means. I don't know how modified it is but it has roller rockers, what sounds like a performance cam and a holley double pump carb on a 1"+ spacer.
If anyone can give me more specifics I would appreciate it.
I put a non lab bravo one 26 pitch on it and have seen 71mph gps.
The turn down pipes were not on the boat when I got it.

I looked at the boat when it was for sale in Sterling Heights. Looked pretty nice when I saw it.

Glad you are back in the game SC!!! :bigthumb:

Good luck with it. We just had our first little girl last week :bounce::D, so our 2013 boating season is over.
