A 283 project just getting started

I really love how this boat is turning out. It's really awesome.
You get a 28 pitch to bite and you get it running in the 80s...holy smokes that's an awesome rig. I bet people will be knocking your door down to buy it
Thanks alot. I've been having trouble getting the 28 bravo to hook up. It is usually 20-24% slip. I bought another 28 that is headed to bblades to get worked specifically for this set up. I also bought a 3 pack of 28 factory labbed Maximus 5 blades (2 rh and 1 lh ) to cut down on slip. I have went 76 at 5300 rpm and 75 several times in a nice 2 ft chop. But only constant 71-72 on flat water. I bought a 4.4 upper pulley to gain 2+ lbs boost and going to give it a little timing as well. I did twist the propshaft already and the drive is in the shop . Fun fun lol.

Have you tried a 3 blade prop yet? My 283 has a -2 imco on it and a bravo 1 26 pitch, and I can't get the hull out of the water. To much stern lift. I'm comparable in hp to your setup.
