A little river run this evening

Couple pics, this bridge known as the traffic bridge or Victoria bridge was built in 1907 and was closed in 2010, they have started to remove it and are building a new one in it's place, it was the only bridge here until 1916, it's kind of a cool old bridge and you'd get a rush driving across wondering if you were going to fall through or side swip the oncoming traffic because it was so narrow,

These LED lights were put on in 2007 for $500k of the tax payers money only to tear it down now, it would cost more to save them then their worth so the lights are getting scraped too.

it's unknown what will be put in its place, there is talk of a 30 million replica with wider lanes but the city has no money allocated for the project, what else is new, at this point they are just starting to dismantle it
