Bench seatback hinges needed

With my floor/stringer porject nearing the end, it's almost time to devert my attention to the interior. I've already got new front buckets but will be redesigning my side panels and rear bench seat. I wish to have my rear seat back and bottem hinge open. Unfortunatley, only the holes in the rear deck remain. I suppose my rear seat has been redone at one time or another and the hinging ability was not retained. Now I would like to come up with a pair of hinges to match the 4 holes in my rear deck (2 holes per hinge). I'm going to have to assume that they are the same hinges on the Nerds new ride as shown in the pic below I borrow from his post (thanks Nerd). If anyone has a suggestion on a source to acquire these, please lemme know.....

I think they have those hinges at Boaters World (I hate that place). Or do a bit of searching on Ebay.

The ones @ Boater's World and West Marine don't have the same foot print as the ones on your boat. I'm pretty sure I need ones like you have.

Additionally, it appears that your seat back is removable by raising it ans sliding it to one side to separate the hinge halves. Am I correct?

WOW, Jallen its your lucky day.I was searching the net looking for the hinges for you. Then I reliazed I have a set of the exact hinge your looking for in the tool box.

When I reworked my Interior a few yrs back I decided to forgo the hinges and have velcro to secure the rearseat back, it clean up the look. With the skipole the seatback wouldn't stay up out of the way anyways.

Just PM me your address and I'll send them to you.Just give some time to get the post office.I just sent out my old grab handle to ross, in northern mich.

Take Care,Merc245 Jeff :thumb:

P.S. No the seat back does not remove like U think. U have to remove part of the hinge

Thats funny, I just ran out to the garage to look also. I know I have the stock latches from my other boats seat. But finding them is a whole nother story. I really need to clean my garage.

I found you a new pair. Just about every little part of hardware on a checkmate is manufactured by Perko.Check out these!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! They don't give thos away, do they! :irked: Merc245, if you don't mind parting with them I'd happily take them off of your hands. I'll shoot you a PM. Lemme know how much I owe you.

Nerd, I know exactly what you mean about finding things you know you had at one time or another. I was telling myself yesterday that I will clean up the garage as soon as this project is completed. IN other words...maybe next year.
