big problems need some help

Today i started off with the simple project of fixing a little rot under the driver side.To make a long story short half of my stringer was wasted also ,not only that my stringers are seperating from the hull,and the floor is seperating from the side off the hull.Is 5this from to much power in to small off a boat.[senator with 468]all the other wood in the boat is ok.gave it the old hammer test.it is stored in a garage since i have had it.would this be effecting the speed performance of my boat.And are all checkmate stringers 3/4in. plywood,that kind off seamed a little small?I love my senator but not enough to tear the hole floor out just to re glass my stringers ,can i just reglass the parts i can see and will that get me buy or am i just stuck with the old boat saying= A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by fiberglass in with to sink money in to . 25 days till memorial day and i have lots of people going

well you have 2 choices here, do it fast or do it right. with a 468 back there doing right is your only option - you know, as soon as you said "a little rot" i knew where this thread was going. 3/4 ply is pretty common, laminated thicker usually. you're lucky there are a ton of guys who have already done this so a lot of helpful advice is out there

Wood rot is a living organism..it will continue to eat away if you don't remove it entirely. Remove the floor & stringers from the bulkhead forward of the gas tank (it's probably not rotton forward of the tank) to the transome. You'll have to remove the gas tank and foam also. Replace the stringers & bulkheads fore and aft of the tank with Mantex. Use marine ply glassed on both sides to replace the floor. It's itchy and time consuming, but well worth it in the end. If you do the work yourself it should only cost you $1500-$2000 and a couple of long weekends! Search my threads and you'll find pictures of my Pulsare under reconstruction.

Yeah, the guys are right there, is no quick fix and there is no value in a temporary bandaid. There is enough time to get it done before summer or you could probably get by till fall if you can live with the rot.
