Was looking at the Hot Boat Site and they did a test on your boat in 2001 with the 6.2 and they stated 62.8 mph as top speed.

What I notice with these boat shows and stuff, they never get the boating going top speed as what it could. The manufacture has a top speed that say it can do, and the show has a top speed of around 10-20 MPH less. In Bills case, it may be only a few MPH more. It also depends on what prop they have on it. They might just have your old average prop on it, which I not sure as I have never owned I/O

Mike, thanks for the info! I was told the X dimension is a little higher now, which might make up a little of that. We will just have to wait and see. I just got off the phone with Larry at Bayview. Now I have had the opportunity to meet or talk to all three in the business and whaqt a pleasure it is dealing with them. They all come across with the utmost sincerity and will do their best to make the customer happy! Thanks Bayview!

Back when I was looking at the Pulsare, before I talked to Rick, I got a price of 35 grand with the 300. That was with a tandem axle C-hawk with all the options and the boat pretty much optioned out. I was missing about 2500 dollars on options, but still pretty loaded!
 
Using a calculator, thats close to 52.5 Canadian. Don't forget my gas charges (way too high with my Avalanche), all the exporting stuff and any other. I probably would not get it loaded but it would be nice enough. Nothing is cheap these days and I am learning to accept that.

Z, get a real motor in that truck and gas mileage won't drop when towing

I used to get 13mpg towing the Diplomat with the A/C running, 90 degrees out and the cruise set on 75.
 
See,you are smarter than me, you pulled out the calculator, I do it in my head quickly and look like a dumbass
 
Real motor? I could have got the 345 HP, but the 285 was fine with me. It could still pull a Pulsare easily and probably get over 10 MPH. Right now, I think its around 16-18 MPG driving back and fourth to work. Stop and Go really gets it down there though. Its called the Calculator button on my keyboard
