Anyo e have a 28 to 30 ft boat with a c channel trailer under it. My original eagle had rusted out in 03 and i built a new one to same specs but now that one is rusting out from inside out. I want to build a c channel trailer like a myco or something but tryi g to see what size steel the use for main frame and cross beams. Thanks

My slingshot has a c channel myco under it but its in storage now. I will see if I can find some pics tomorrow.

I would love to go aluminum but have to watch my expenses. I still have paint the boat and do the cockpit interior then the cabin interior. I can build a nice steel trailer for a lot less than an aluminum one. I dont put in salt water a lot so i think i should be able to get away a c channel trailer with a good paint job on it.

My trailer is old (1993) and was used in salt for a while so it has some surface rust spots, I called myco to get a quote on replacing it 16,000 was what I got for a new aluminum. So mine is getting blasted and repainted this spring, not sure what myco uses for paint but it has held up very well
