Can't post pics for months

Stereotypically I'd say the landfill would be in NJ but I didn't think there was one over there. You launch trim the Trenton ramp?

Once, yet again, Jimway is right. Now I feel compelled to ask, Is there a Checkmate logo somewhere on the aircraft? Would give new meaning to the term Convincer...

Believe me when I tell you I'd love to be " Zappin' " aircraft with Checkmate stickers...in fact, that's an unofficially widely encouraged tradition when deployed on ships with multiple squadrons, or on cross country or visiting far away establishments of questionable repute. However, since I'm a well known Checkmate enthusiast amongst my aviation/helo brethren, it would not take long to find me guilty. Oh yeah, I should mention that zapping aircraft is great fun until you get caught. It can get pretty uncomfortable if the owner of the zapped aircraft, i.e. the commanding officer, has a $h!tty sense of humor. Sadly, all services are becoming less and less humorous.

Hey Sim, sending this picture from my phone while driving down the hwy, just because I can...:D T minus 1 hour till arrival at the lake for operation spring wood gathering, about time to sit around the fire with a cold one, even if I have to wear a snowmobile suit.

Boat looks good Sim. Nice pic.

Can get the basics but it's a real drag trying to do any editing and then being able to get it into photobucket as opposed to being able to just cut and paste straight from my computer- well here's a couple unedited shots from yesterday

Actually, that was just about the only one worth a damn without cropping and zooming.

Hi sim,

If you use photobucket or one of the file hosting services, what will display is whatever they have uploaded.

To attach pictures here, you should be able to upload your photos from your desktop as long as they're not overly huge in file size. The software will actually attempt to crop them a bit, but if you're uploading a very large file in mb's, than the upload can fail.

Are you using a different camera? Maybe taking pics with a new phone? Either of these things can give you bigger file sizes.

I'm still using the same old canon point&shoot that I've been using for years as (I've got 2-3 of the same one's because I've got a decent scuba housing for it- considerably more expensive than the camera itself) I'm committed to it.
File sizes from it have always been too big to upload to this site.
Should start using the iphone for uploading pics (like John L. did earlier in this post) but I'm a techno-weenie.
I'll ask knarloid to show me how next weekend when he, Jim P. and I go on our ROAD TRIP. (more to follow about THAT-there will be video documentation as well)

This forum uses old technology, lol, it's the only forum I'm on that doesn't re-size the pics for you, all the other one's I'm on you can upload whatever size either to the forum site or photobucket and they are automatically displayed 640x480.

I've tried uploading pics to the gallery here and can't figure it out, get a error message every time, yet I can load them into a post.

My Cannon camera takes large file size pictures (3.5 to 6 megs each). When I post to forums I use Microsoft picture manager and resize to 20%
of the original, then download from Photobucket.

Someday I too shall post a pic or two that I would like to share only with my Checkmate friends. It is not possible to do on my end yet and I'm not sure why. I was able to transfer a pic from the desktop for the avatar easily. The pics from a hosting site will not go through so I gave up. One of these days though I've got a couple of shots of some straight county road in Eastern WA that I think some might enjoy. From following along this thread, maybe the pics have to be resized.

Canada=cool but Georgia = better. Last time I checked you could drive in Georgia with an open bottle of Jack Daniels and a loaded Glock under your seat.
As long as you weren't over the limit.
Limit?
Think about it.

We used to be the land of the free, nowadays with all the morons in Washington chipping away at our rights I think we may be second fiddle to you all in that department.
