Checkmate sightings this weekend

i seen two old 23' Enforcers out today. one enforcer was an I/O and one was an outboard. the outboard was blue/silver flake. it was pretty nice looking.

I think it is on its way to Florida for some test runs. It has a 525 in it is what I have been told. Looks cool doesnt it! How did it run?

'88 Starliner, these guys were much more into the brand. Nice to see owners that are familiar with their boats pedigree.

I looked at and test drove a boat just like the one in the first pic...it was pretty clean but i didnt like the pink and black color scheme and also the interior was seriously this color. it didnt even match at all boat also ran pretty rough...kept dying and was only running about 45 with a 350 merc...The owner kept bragging about how well kept the boat and how it hardly had a scratch on it....until it died right before he was docking it and ran it right into a metal dock :yell:.. so needless to say i didnt buy it...i think he want 9000 grand for it....so i passed and found an 83 enchanter that is faster better looking and less than half the price:thumb:..

P.S. what model is the boat in the top pic...the owner didnt even know :shakehead: what his own boat was...Starliner maybe??

i passed this guy coming home on 75 memorial day. thought it was funny cause he was pulling a red/white mate with a teal truck and i'm pulling a teal mate with a red truck
 
Great pics!! It is sad here in the upper midwest, I live in the land of 10,000 lakes and I can count on one hand the number of minnesota checkmate enthusiasts I see here:irked:. I see quite a few on lakes like Big Detroit, there are a bunch on pelican and I think the only one we hear from is Rob Z. Where are the rest of you guys.

What a shame!

83Predictor and I were out yesterday and he pointed this out to me.He said it's been sitting for months.Looks like someone went back to Branford, CT. for the summer and left there new Checkmate sitting in the salt water.:shakehead:
