Checkmate sightings this weekend

That one is actually a Starfire.

And after looking at it again its not "Nice" either. :shakehead:

He pulled up next to me at the gas station. I asked him if it was a Starfire or a senator. He went......uh, its a 350 mercruiser......in uh.....Checkmate.....you know Sterndriver. I said yea, I know. Is it 18' or 20'? He said 18'. So yes Starfire. Thing was rough and so was the owner.

Transom is different between the 2. Senator has small steps on the top of transom both sides and ski eye on top. Starfire has rails that start at swim platform and continue into the boat. Also has different dash.

Not a senator idd
Ohhh!!!! You guys are so cold!!!!!:rof:
And Harsh!!:rof:
Thank God the poor guy's wife wasn't in the picture.!!!
You know, saggy transom and rotten stringers.
Just to be clear; Have no idea who he is and certainly have never seen his partner. Would never mean to offend an actual person.
But youse guys are so cold.....!!!:rof:
Carry on.

We were down at Bull Shoals Lake in the Oakland AR area. We came in to the resort for lunch and when we got back down to the dock there was a '79 entertainer parked in the dock hiding from the storm. The guys were great to talk to. It was awesome to see the boat floating next to our '80 entertainer.

I am not very smart, because I did not take a single pic.....sorry.
