In the area at the radio it looks as if the cracks starts out from the top left corner. It is possible that the cutout didn't have round corners. Square cut corners are notorious for causing cracks in all materials.

Hey!! now that you have mention this I took the opportunity to remove the radio today to check and you are right the corners are cut square they are not rounded off.So just to fix that only it will cost me 1,000.00$ plus so I was thinking of camouflaging the crack with something like a decal of somewhat or any ideas you guys have will be appreciated
Give the whole dash a carbon fiber look or finish. either with custom made panels or paint. I think Wildman did this to one of his custom Liberators. Then you don't have to be quite so concerned about matching the Gel coat.

Denis this is bad for CM reputation of exclellant workmanchip.!
I think they should talk to you and come up w/some arangement to repair that boat properly's. Job well done it will retain it's value($$).
carbon fiber look will be tricky with paint. It's not a mix of paint but a skilled graphic painter can do it with masking and shading. You could order a carbon fiber look vinyl decal from ezstriper.

I agree, but there are a few issues to resolve around who is responsible.
1. The dealer probably installed the radio and they did the cut out with square corners that resulted in the high stress loading and cracks. Should the factory be responsible for the dealers poor install? While it could be argued that even with square corners it should not crack, who is responsible?
2. When CM was sold, does the new owner buy the warrantee work when he buys the brand and reputation? It sounds like he did not intend to and part of the contract was that the past owner would agree to pay for "prior to sale" warranty issues on a case by case basis. Should the new owner make an exception? Maybe?
3. So much time has past since the boat left the factory. Was there an on-going dialogue on the warrantee claim that the factory has been ignoring or are they sort of finding out about this for the first time at this point. Sounds like a little of both to me, as a repair was made at some point and they would think the case is settled.
To me, the factory would only cover this now, if they wanted to buy some "good will"
