CHECKMATES NEW 43 FOOTER

Thank You Cooperider

Thank You Cooperider for the Videos that is Awesome having these Videos here on the Checkmate Forum First. Have a Great Day and Best Wishes Always Sammie Action Marine

Thanks cooperider, what a great day to be a Checkmate fan . NADA says all Checkmates just went up in value...at least i would like to think so.

I'm going to guess you are about 10-15m.p.h. too high. With the 700's I think she will see 85-90.

I believe it will be closer to 100 but we will just have to see if we are lucky enough to ever find out. Maybe Sammy could offer some more of his expertise on this.. I have seen very similar setups run the hundo mark. The Punisher is amazing. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

43FT

The 43ft Checkmate has a Dry Weight of 10300 lb's. The Test Props that were coming from Mercury were to be 32 Pitch and if the Drives have a 1.50 gear Ratio and the motors run between 4800 and 5200 RPM with 10% prop slip the boat should run 90 mph Plus Sammie Action Marine

What does it read with 15-18% slip. 10% sounds very low for a step bottom IMHO. I have the little brother of this boat (36 Apache) and I run 11% slip.

slip

4000rpm=73mph GPS=10% slip Once the Motors have more time on them and Jeff gets to do his own Testing with the 18 sets of Props he has I am sure all of You will be Pleasantly Surprised. At any Rate this is Going to be a Awesome Addition to the Checkmate Line and a Big Thank You goes Out to Jeff and Checkmate for Making this Happen. Jeff Enjoy Your New Checkmate and Sell a Lot of Them. Best Wishes Always Sammie Action Marine
