CHECKMATES NEW 43 FOOTER

Just a little FYI story to all you boat lovers around the world......

Back in the 1990's I did exactly what Chris is recommending....I convinced my wife that the 32 foot ChrisCraft sitting on a triple axcel trailer that showed up in our driveway being towed by a Kenworth one Saturday afternoon was gonna be our way of owning a 2nd summer home on the water, along with being a yearly vacation saver.

Well, I was divorced the very next season {happily}-- and went on to enjoy many years of beautiful offshore boating in my C Craft before selling it in 2001 {Oh I miss that boat :D} .

Fast forward to today....I have sinced downsized a bit to currently owning a 22ft Check, --- my EX wife lives in the same town as me and recently saw my Check in the driveway ---- she stopped in ...... said it is a gorgeous boat and then asked for a ride when I put it in the water, --- I replied with a resounding --"not a chance".

Since 1994 I have been very very much enjoying my boating summers here in NewEngland, and have been blessed with the companionship of mature / intellectual / professional / bright spirited / thong bikini wearing young woman who really like me for who I am ---- a self centered / materialistic / narcissistic / over 50 victim of fate.
As with every year---I can't wait for summer

So the moral of this story is......
There is no moral --- I just wanted to brag

Got it, but one word in your post stands out:rof:

Sorry to everyone for the "off topic", I'll stop, and if Kip would just post the pics he is promising I wouldn't have started.

No such drive exists merc makes a 6, an 8, but usually pairs the 700 w nxt drives

Just repeating what Kip said, he may have meant to say 6 or 8, but it came out 7. I personally have not heard of the 8 and wondered about the 7, but the 43 was not the main topic, so I didn't ask.

The m8 is their newest drive is was designed to mate up to their1350 apparantly the sixes weren't holding up to the torque

Sct posted a pic of the engine compartment on boatfreaks

Have a link?
Nevermind, I got this with a bit of scouting,
Should have been here first, this IS the checkmate site!
