I attented the River meet on the 17th and the 24th with my 1984 Checkmate Convincor and a good time was had both days,but there sure were a lot of trees floating on the 17th lol!!!

Gildersleeve Island

Now that I know there are a lot of Checkmate owners on the Connecticut River,maybe we can all meet sometime at the head of Gildersleeve Island in Portland during the summer!!! It would be cool to have a Checkmate Cruise on the River!!! Maybe we should get together on here and set something up!!!

I started a new thread in the "Patriot mates" to see who's in for a Checkmate run on the river check it out and post what you guys think.

Went out on The Conn river memorial day.Did see one other checkmate near weathersfield.Saw a few trees floating.Water was high.I think I hit some blew out prop.
