Fastest O/B CM ever? 100?

I'm building a ( top secret power head ) for my Trimate this winter after I get back to work. I got 63mph on GPS at 5,000 rpm and had 1/2 throttle left~ 28 pitch Britts cut chopper -- I'm about 250 hp now I'm going to get 75+ before the season is out with this power head ~ wicked grins~

I think the fastest checkmate O/B ive heard of was a starflite. I believe it was radard at 101-103 it had a johnson V8 making a nearly 400hp from what I recall.

It looks a lot like mine. ;)

Supposedly the Stage V had 425hp but I don't think mine is putting out that much, it's got a few hours on it. Still it's more than I can currently handle, I'd say just over 400 but honestly it's never been dynoed. Gotta love the 250 'sleeper' cowl. hehe

Not the knuckles

I believe that one ran in the 90s.The one im talking about you have to do alot of research to find.Im not even sure where I read it I havent thought bout since I had my starflite.Mine only ran 80,so I wasnt even close. There is noway id run a starflite with the stock transom anywhere neer 100mph.The splashwell is the weak link on a very good hull.Wed still have ours had the splashwell not been givin up the ghost. The maroon was very hard to keep up on as well.I always thought mid to high 80s would been right in that hull.
