My motor came with a level 1 kit, going back to a stock cowling and stock air actuator to quiet the motor a bit, Its a center console not a speed boat. I was told by DBR it is the old style?? Not sure what that means, my motor is a 2011 300xs. Picture is of it on my motor.

It will be interesting if you see any less performance w- the stacks removed. I’m guessing not. I agree about the noise. I had a 225 EFI 3.0L w- a drilled mid section.....it was cool for awhile and then I plugged it.

I put the stock cowling on, just got the intake and flywheel cover from a member on S&F, if it was my starliner i would have left it alone. But trolling offshore it gets a little loud for me. My stoker had the mid drilled it was cool sounding. I was looking online for the flywheel cover install instructions..I think its simple but just wanted to see a video.
