Got the itch to grind on something...

Sorry Garry didn't mean to take over your thread. I had a thread started awhile back. I will look it up and continue there.

and I think the only other cool thing I have left is a pair of factory 8500 rpm boxes for the early ignition

Bill, you ever posted pix's of that trailer queen of yours?

Not sure how many twin O/B Enforcers were built but wouldn't think more than a half dozen and no way any are as nice as yours.

There was a thread on here about someone making a twin engine enforcer, I took pics of the inside of the transom and the bracket for whoever it was doing the project so they could copy it.

When Billy built my boat in 1990 he said there were only 4 of them built like mine with the different deck, I've never seen any of them, it seems to be holding up well, it will be going to the detail shop this year, the carpet needs a scrubbing, someone spilled a drink by the back seat, other than that it looks just as it did the last time you saw it. Wish it went a little faster but, oh well, Nan likes to idle around listen to radio and drink wine so I don't worry about it, and if I want go fast I just grab the other old bone in the garage sitting next to it.

Bill recently sent me in the direction of pictures of his Enforcer to help me return mine to a twin boat. I have been told that mine came from the factory with twin 2.4 200 mercs on it. As soon as i sell some stuff i am planning to start its return to that! But it will be much more fun to watch this motor come together!!

Very cool.

I've seen Bills in person and pix's of the one w/the twin Yammi' s and that's the only two I know of.

IMO, a twin O/B 24' and 25' Checkmate are the sharpest there is of the breed.

No worries.

Bills a friend of mine and the only way I'm allowed around his shop is if I leave my wallet at home ;)

First time I bought some parts from Bill he introduced me to the term "gently used" :rof:
Laughed about that for a long time.

I'd go visit if I thought he'd divulge any secrets of what went into his mystery motors ;)
