Hi Everyone!

I am a new member to the forums, but have been sniffing around as a guest for awhile.
I am fortunate enough to now own a 1987 Playmate GT. :bounce:

I do most of my boating in New England (Maine & New Hampshire) and have been a Checkmate fan for many years. I can remember having the opportunity to purchase one of these neat little boats back at that time from a guy who owned a boat racing shop. I almost did it and had always regretted that I passed up the opportunity. However, after much searching, I finally found one and am anxiously looking forward to motoring-it-up "slick" and using it.

I will post my motor question to the appropriate forum and will look forward to hearing what the experts have to say on this topic.

Again, I am happy to be a part of this great community of like-minded folks!! :D

Welcome aboard.. Lets see some pics... Great little boats.. My son and i had ours out today on the river.. Perfect boating day.. Boating on Dec 15 you have to love that...
