I am glad the site took off. Duringt he 1st week it was slow. We then started (or at least me) started to promote the site on a few boards. In a nice way mind you. Private meassage and e-mail. Then Chris was able to get us on the search engines and the floor gates opened.

I FOUND THIS SITE A COUPLE MONTHS AGO WHEN SURFING THE NET AT WORK. I'M IN AN OFFICE ALL DAY WITH NOT MUCH TO DO, SO I GOT TIME. WHEN I TYPED CHECKMATE INTO GOOGLE, THIS SITE CAME UP. I REALLY ENJOY IT, THATNKS CHRIS!

THE OLDER BOATS AND THE BRAND NEW BOATS SEEM TO BE ENJOYED BY ALL CHECKMATE OWNERS. THIS CONVINCED ME THAT A CHECKMATE BOAT IS WHAT I WANTED FOR MY FIRST BOAT. EVERYONE IS SUPER NICE. I think I had seen one Checkmate in my life!
Could not tell you where or when.
But the name was stuck in the back of my brain.
So, when I started looking for a boat I looked for Checkmate. The rest is history!
When I was about ready to pick my Checkmate up,
I did a search at Yahoo and this board, I think, was listed as #2.

I found the site when I was serching for good pic's of checkmates, I watched for a couple months then signed in. I've had a love for checkmates that dates back to when I was a kid and my dad had a little playmate. I finaly got my own a couple years ago and LOVE it.
