How often do you go out?

How often do you take your boat out? April through early October I usually make it out 2-3 times per week. Off season maybe 2-3 per month. This year Ive burned up 400 gallons of gas so far. Of course the boat ramp is 2 miles away.

3-4 days a week between May-Sep, and first two weeks of Aug everyday, just parked out front so no dealing with boat ramps makes it easy to just go for a quick burn.

We only get out about 5 or 6 times a month locally , a few 3-5 day waterfront camping trips a summer , 5 days at lake Cumberland and maybe 3 weekends up at the cottage in between all the other things going on. I am at about 200 + gallons of fuel so far but spend most of our time chillin and grillin. This has been a summer I wont forget as we spent a weekend in the Punisher at Hardy Dam ( new top speed):sssh:with an awesome couple and the fun with great friends at Lake Cumberland this year was a blast. :cheers:A great summer and will be hard to beat next year. Headed to Higgins lake for the holiday and hope to look up Dan az80 if he will be up. Im a lucky man!!!

I just added up my dollars and I've burned $700ish. I go out most weekends if weather is 50% storms or less. I had some surgery this year and I'm a few hundred dollars down this years.

I can attest that a week at Cumberland is worth a lifetime of memories. What a great lake.

I'm heading out soon for my second run of the year. I have waited patiently while my GF takes her kids to sporting events and then takes Sunday shifts to help support her household. Friends all have their weekends booked and launching a Convincor in the wind and current alone is a bitch!
I got fed up with all the jerking around and joined a yacht club so I can go alone. They have a great launch with a parallel dock and I can take my time so launching alone is easy. There are always people there to give a hand too so I think this will work out pretty good. No more waiting for all the stars to align just to take a boat ride!

my boat stays on a lift at our camp which is 3 miles away from my house... tough commute. i feel like i have not been out nearly enough this year, however, i am on my second case of Premium Plus, so i suppose i am doing ok.

I don't keep a log of gas, oil, $, or time on the water. We try to get out when ever we can. In Michigan the boating season is limited, we are out minimum once a week.

Not often enough. My boat is usually sitting on a lift at my in-laws about 2 miles away. So depending on what we have going, a couple of times a week. That being said, anytime is good time on the water.:thumb:

Ouch
My kids sports consist of swimming, tubing and water skiing. Works out well that way :).

Not as much as i use to due to 55-60 hour work weeks all summer the last 2 summers. 3 years ago i put about 80 hours on the motor. Last summer with work and a back injury i think we only put 20-30 hours on her and this summer im somewhere around 40 hours with still more to come!

My boat sits in a lift at my parents cottage from May to the end of September, I try to get out at least once or twice a weekend depending on the weather and boat traffic. I live an hour from the lake so I don't get out during week, but I do take almost all of my vacation time (over 4 weeks worth) over the summer usually a Friday and a Monday at a time so i can spend more time on the water! This is an interesting thread, I think it's funny how I notice that a lot of boats up on my lake sit in there lifts and you barely see them out once or twice the whole season!! Some people just don't use their boats, but I do!!
