HYDROSTREAM VALERO YT BOWRIDER

Geez, Can't we all get along??:D Shameless, salt water or not; the boat is a bowrider and you mentioned that you're looking for a closed deck so the whole point is mute. And for you guys that run in salt, I agree; it's all how you take care of your boat that makes the difference. I've seen boats that have been run for years in saltwater in better shape than boats that have seen freshwater use! Last point to Shameless, if you inspected my boat you would never be able to tell if it were a saltwater or fresh water boat!!!:thumb:

Amen !! :)

Am I supposed to be impressed?
Hello Mcfly Jupiter, Fl.
Common sense would have told me this boat has seen salt water. So who's the dumb azz now?
And I'm a very happy person. You just don't like the opinion of someone that uses his boat in salt water alot. And yes my boat looks as good as the day I bought it.
Like I said it's all in how you take care of it.

You have your opinion and I have mine.Get over it

And good luck on your search..

Lots of inland water in Florida, so no, comon sense does not mean salt water!!!

Yeah, I know about the closed bow open bow...my bad on the typo, smaller boat closed bow, the size of your hydro would do for open bow.

Not knocking your boat at all, but I simply will not buy a used salt water boat, I have been there done that...

to the rest of you for insulting me on my educated experience...:shakehead::shakehead::shakehead:

Good luck jp, I am sure or boat is a great buy for someone!!!!!

Enjoy your salt water!!!;)

Shameless is going out of his way to discourage other potential buyers. He should have PMed Jup his reasons for not wanting the boat rather then on a public message board. He said that he would never buy a boat that has been in saltwater because they are all junk. That is a slap in the face the people who take very good care and take the extra steps to keep a very well maintained boat that is used in salt water.

Personally, I think it's a beautiful and well maintained boat. My only issue with it is all those damn alligators it's been around. :rof:

Just took the little Hydrostream out for a ride last sunday. It was the first time I've run the boat in 10 months!! Started up on the first turn of the key and ran like a champ. What a fun boat, buzzed all around the Jupiter/County line sandbars and did a few 70 mph blasts. Gotta drop the motor down about 1" or get a Bob's cone with low water pickups...

I'm amazed that I still have this boat! Everyone must be broke! It's a great price for a mint Hydrostream..Had alot of interest and buyers from Canada, but by the time they ship it and pay the taxes it gets too expensive.. Still available! TTT

All of this on a for sale thread. I know guys who run in the salt water and are more conscience of cleaning there boats. That aside this would be a topic for the open boat forum. Jup s a great guy with a wondreful family. He needs this on a for sale thread. Come on!!!:mad::mad:
Guys I am selling a boat here as are so many others there are boats that are my taste and there are those that are not, but I would never go out of my way to jump on someones thread unless I thought what he was saying might endanger a potential buyer. Someone here owes an apology.:shakehead::shakehead::shakehead:
