Been away for a while , back now .
Missed this forum !
Won't be boating much this year , am retiring after 42 years in the cable tv business . Am going on an expedition this summer west of the Mississippi River for 3 or 4 months . Never been there .

Sounds like an exciting adventure. Keep us posted with some pics.

aaah retirement.......i'm just a little jealous.........hope you our going further west than MN not much to see here......

I want to swim in the Pacific Ocean . Got 42 places to see on the list . All the major tourist traps , Yellowstone , Grand Canyon , etc., plus , small town America ! Once I pass the Mississippi , I'm going to try and stay on 2 lane roads as much as possible . Should be fun !

you will have a good time. my grandmother did the same thing. retired and then bought a big motor home and went to as many states as she could before she passed. safe travels

Retirement

Congradulations on your retirement and welcome to the club(Been retired since 2004) which gives you much more time for boating!!! Traveling along those 2 lane highway's will be something you will really enjoy because thats where the action is and I wish you the best!!!

Congrats on your retirement.. I did the cross country thing back in the 80's in a van. What a beautiful country we live in.. I'd like to cross the border to Canada someday..
