Kip just sent me these pics of the first new 24BR. Doug Smith left with it today for the Hotboat Mag tests in Florida. I'm getting the 2nd one. Mine will be a white/red/black/ and silver flake boat with a REAL motor, Merc 300XS! Here's some pics.

Wow ! Lots of room in the cockpit area. They could have added wrap around seating on the rear bench. Different colors too !:thumb:

One sweet looking ride. Hmmmm I wonder if my wife will let me have a new boat........:)

What is the price tag on one of those baby's!!! NICE!

Anyone interested in buying a brand new 2008 Pulsare 2100 (never used) so I can put my money towards a 2400:confused:

WildMan, how fast will the 300xs push that rig?

I'm waiting for the price on it. They were talking about $3000 more than the closed deck. The closed deck ran right a t 75 on GPS when running light, and 70 with 3 people and 40 gallons of gas. It always had very strong pull with the 300xs. This will probably run a bit slower due to the extra weight. I'll be the first to know though!
Hot daddy, where's the pics of your new boat? Speeds with the 280? Come on, inquiring minds wanna know!

I've been waiting for this since Kip gave me the heads-up last fall. The boat is beautiful. Looking at the pictures it doesn't appear to have a ski locker in the sole, is that the case, and did they make it to have a ski pylon like the smaller Pulsars?
Yeah I know the 2000 or 2100 would be a better ski boat, but if I'm going to get rid of my Starlet I have to get something that works for everyone in the family.

Now thats a beautiful boat wonder how my simonized 300x would work on that thing may have to think about listing my 2100 ZRandy can you shoot me a PM for one of those babys fully rigged minus motor

Ckeck ya later

after looking at the 2400 closed bow on checkmate the only thing that i wish they would have done different eith this BR is made wrap around rear seat back rests and put a sun pad on the back instead of leaving so much room between the seats.

Check ya later

WildMan..

Have not even got the thing in the water yet, Road work is real busy up our way, so I really have not had the time to get it out.

I was hoping for this weekend, but the weather is not cooperating (plus I am not ready).

Next weekend I am boating come hell or high water. :eyecrazy:

Pics and #'s to follow for the inquiring minds.

Thanks.

You can fit a bunch of ski equipment behind the rear seat. Or underneath it.

In the front, all three seat cusions lift up with storage underneath, as well as the 2 seat backs at the rear of the open bow area, with storage in front of the helm and the cooler on the other side. Enough to fit a small person inside, I know because its been done.

LMAO at your closing line Coop! You stole that from my post ! :)
Oh, and by the way.......looooky what's hangin' on the back of that first 2400BRX!! SaWEEEEEETTT!!!!

It looks like there's a snap-on cover to go on over the cooler area? I'm guessing you couldn't have put the cooler door on the side in the walk-through because the cooler wouldn't slide out easy enough? Nice easy access for the passenger to grab those pops though.

That is a real sweet boat. It is good to see that checkmate is stepping up thier game, such as the anchor hatch, recesed speakers, cooler, etc.
The seats are pretty nice too.
