January 2006

I thought I'd let y'all know that January '06 was our busiest month ever.

Here are some key stats...

-We averaged 46,197 Hits a day and had a total of over 1.4 million hits for the month.

-We averaged 27,244 file downloads per day and a total of 751,754 for the month.

-Our bandwidth transfer for the month was over 12 Gig.

Those key stats were all the highest they've ever been. That's not too bad considering it's January!

It will be interesting to see what our two typical busiest months are like, namely, July & August.

Thanks everyone. You've built a great Checkmate resource here.

Hey Chris, it's great guys like you that are highly motivated and enthusiastic that keep us coming back to the site.....it's funny how you have created a "legend" of some sort and the Checkmate factory kind of rides on your tailcoat...no disrespect to Checkmate, Kip, or Mike, but it's Checkmate-boats.com that makes it happen for us on the internet!!!! Many thanks and hats off!! Steve

Thanks fellas.

I appreciate the kind comments.

For me, the motivation for starting the site was a love of the boats.

Today, it's still about the boats, but it's equally about all of you crazy Checkmate fanatics.
