July 4th Boating!

JUPITER PULSARE

Well-known member
Had a great day on the water yesterday. Ran the ocean south from Jupiter Inlet to Palm Beach Inlet to meet up with my brother at Peanut Island. He has a brand new Sailfish 325 DC with twin Verado 350's. (Awesome family boat with tons of room) The ocean was 1'-3' and the Pulsare 2400 handled nicely at 40-45mph. Spent the day floating, eating, watching bikinis, drinking, swimming, watching bikinis, looking for sealife and animals, walking the sanbar, etc. Did I forget to mention watching bikinis? It was a beautiful sunny day with a cloud or two. Packed up an 5:00pm, hit Palm Beach Inlet and took the ocean home to Jupiter Inlet in 2-3' seas. Made one 70mph blast once inside Jupiter Inlet and got back to the dock by 6:00pm. By the time I finished flushing the motor, cleaning the boat, covering it back up and putting it to bed I was sunburned and beat. My wife asked if I wanted to go watch fireworks...I said sure, from my couch in the ac with the TV on!:D:bigthumb:

PS, We also ran into James, Hayabusa, on his Pulsare BRX/Verado 400!:)

Wow a rough day for sure. Here in Ohio, near Wheeling Wva, yesterday was a washout 70 degrees and drizzle, a little warmer we would have ignored the rain. But we did stay out Saturday and Sunday until dark! Is there any porpoising in that hull, like in the convincors? My 270 BR is a bouncing machine, I extended the tabs 9 inches and that helped as far as tab usage and control.

No bouncing in my bowrider. Setup with your I/O is harder because you can't easily change your X-dimension. Some prop changes may help...maybe a standoff box which would move your drive aft and up..
