Keel Guard vs Keel Shield vs Hamby's

Okay folks, let's hear what the Checkmate community has to say about keel guards. Cost is irrelevant, I'm interested in long term adhesion, which seems to be directly related to prep. I've read some reviews of white yellowing after some time. Keel Shield makes a blue, but I really don't care for the square corners up front. Hamby's contours theirs which is much more attractive. I've been looking at two brands primarily but through in Hamby's as well:

Keel Shield: http://www.gator-guards.com/

Keel Guard: https://keelguard.com/megaware-keelguard/

The "best in the biz" is supposed to be Hamby's, but they don't sell white. Only Black and Gray. So...that's almost an instant disqualifier.

Hamby's: http://www.hambys.com/

Anybody else got any bright ideas? The boat will get beached from time to time. Just a fact of life...it's going to get used.

My old fourwinns had the keelguard in white, installed for the previous owner by a dealer. I banged the bottom on the boat lift enough that I was really glad to have it. It never yellowed but it did eventually peel away at the leading edge. I waited until fall, broke out the 3M 5200, and glued it back up. Fixed.
I'll be interested to see what you end up with, because I'm thinking yellow would look good on the bottom of my Pulsare.

See my disclaimer in my signature.

I have never used one but I lean toward the Keelguard. To me it looks like some thought was put into the design. The others are nothing more than a roll of step pad from the conversion van shop down the street.

All have 3M tape. How well they all stick boils down to the prep and install. 3M offers an adhesive promoter for their VHB tape. It is a must have for a proper bond.

There's got to be a way to trim the front corners so it "flows" or "Contours" more with teh lines of the boat...those two right angle corners drive me crazy
