longer tilt & trim hose??

Where in the hell, can I find tilt/trim hoses for my mecury because I added a 6" jp. One needs to be (14" long w/ 1/4" fittings 90deg. on both ends.) The second one (14" long w/ 3/16 fittings 90deg. on both ends.)
Down here in Mississippi NO ONE has any such part, not even the hydraulic hose shops nor the marine places .
I could't even find what I needed on the Internet. The only thing I could come up with, is a AN to inverted flare fitting and use stainless steel soft brake lines. Or maybe the experts can help me on here?

I would have thought a hydraulic shop could make the hoses. I made mine a few years ago, I did have to order the fittings in tho. At the time the place I worked had a parker machine to make all the company hoses!

Thanks anyway guys, I was mad when I posted this, I just bought the AN to inverted flare fitting and stainless steel braded brake line, it should work.

I had the same problem on my 78 Merc. The ONLY thing that I could find to work was some automotive brake line extentions. There is NO place else to get them, I searched for weeks. They took a bit of "custom bending" to work, but was easy and cheap. I will look to see if I have any pics.
