Well I am not personally, however this lady has been running this ad for quite a while now. maybe someone here can help.

http://racine.craigslist.org/boa/1174299576.html

I have a friend who bought a chris craft when he was in school. he sold it when he and his wife started their family. when their kids were grown and finished with school she hunted down that same old chris craft and bought it for him as an anniversary gift. he had no idea. shortly after that she unfortunately passed at a young age unexpectedly. I think it is so sweet he still has that boat she searched for so hard. because of this, this ladys ad inspired me to post it here.

thanks for looking

the first place i would start would be the state dmv . find out how much info is public record and not protected .

I once had a 19' chris craft w/ a 350 chevy
I sold it to a neighbor across the street
he took it to a cabin he had in mass. and later sold it to a friend in mass.
that friend of his in mass. sold it and it ended up being owned by my back yard neighbor. It took about five years but that boat went full circle and ended up parked litterally 80' from where I parked it when I owned it.
kind of funny

I remeber that boat like it was yesterday, came from the dealership I worked at!!! Ironically, there is one here where I live now, only with a new 300 on the back. I will have to take a closer look at it next time I see it! That was a relativley rare color combo.

My dad had bought a black and silver Trimate II in 1977 brand new . He was 20 yrs old at the time . He had it till the summer of 1987 I was 8 yrs old then . This boat was beautiful even at 10 yrs old . I was looking around on ebay one day and found the red and black TrimateII I have now in 2006 . Well two days after I had went to ohio and picked mine up I found his on ebay in lansing michigan I told him anad he came running inside to check it out . Neither one of could believe it hadnt seen it in 20 yrs and here it was right in front of us on the computer screen . Well I called the guy and told him I was the original owner and talked to him for about an hour and made arrangments to come look at it the follwing day . I about cried when I seen it . It was really beat up . The floor was wasted in it which is understandable it was 30 yrs old . The interior was a mess and the deck was so sun faded it was unreal . Then I looked under it the hull had big chunks of gelcoat missing right down to the glass . I couldnt believe it I had such a sick feeling looking at . I was gunna buy it back for my dad and restore it but the guy wanted 1800 for it . I told him he was crazy . Then to days later he sells it for only 800 . I would have took it for that . I do know it left the state I was kinda wondering tho if it was still around .

I'm 2nd owner of my Trimate II the 1st owner kept it in a barn when not in use and I bought it in 1998 and it only saw 1 yr outside since then it has been stored inside.. I hope that lady finds her husbands boat.... I have thought of looking for my 1st boat.. I have memories and some pictures lol...
