Looking to replace upholstery on 1991 Pulse

Victor

New member
Looking for total upholstery replacement for 1991 Pulse that I purchased a couple years ago. Does the factory or any aftermarket vendors offer replacement upholstery. Much of the underlying wood (non-structural) that supported the old upholstery was in bad shape when I bought it and I did a rough rebuild that has been holding up Ok. I would prefer, however, to have the entire stern upholstery support redone.

Before I go to local venders down here in Tampa, I am curious what the factory or Checkmate specialist may have to offer.

Thanks for any information that any of you can provide.

Just went through the interior on my starflite and I just bought the interior and figured id rebuild the wood myself:shakehead:. Boy was that a mistake took weeks to do spent more money running around and time then i thought it would be i believe the interior package was 800 or is 1500 complete i would only do the full package next time. Mine turned out well but wow was it more work then i thought with the resining of everything and hopeing it fits. I wont do that again. Just my to cents but id buy it ready to plug and play next time. Aaron

Thanks - will call Mike at Checkmate

Thanks everyone. I will be calling Mike at Checkmate tomorrow. Will let you know how I make out.

Hey Aaron...I have an 87 Starflite myself and Iam looking to replace the upholstery...I saw your post where did you find a full interior for 1500 ? thanks Chris

The factory did my interior , they sent everything from the boxes under the rear seat to the hinges and screws . Beautiful workmanship and fit perfectly .

I would like to hear about the price you got, I called on my 25 convincor and they told me over $3500.....Rob

Back in March of 2005 , the bill for a complete interior replacement for my Senator was ... $1700 .

Victor,

I would like to hear what you find also. I live in the Sarasota area and just got a quote for my 87 Enchanter. The price was $660 for carpet and $1550 for the seats and interior panels.
