Hey guys, that's my yellow 251 Check. That was the 2006 RPBA Poker Run on the James River. I did purchase that photo from Randy and that included the digital image as well. Here is a picture I took during the lunch stop of that run. So yes it is my boat and yes it is my picture.

Here is the non-copyrighted version. I was in a hurry to enter a CMI photo contest right after that poker run and we got messed up with the digital images.

I actually contacted Randy via email to see about using this pic. And what he said was that the we can use the pic, as long as the customer who purchased the pic from him (in this case the boat's ownder V32498) is approving it's use.

So my best suggestion is to enter it next month and give it a go. What I would do too, is use the copyright version, that way Randy gets a little plug for his abilities and efforts- which seems only fair, given his approval for it's use by us. :)

COOL!!!

I actually have had a beer with Randy after a poker run and once again at the Winter Chill Out in Richmond. He is a great guy and a great photographer. It's funny to hear him tell the story of hanging out of the helicopter while trying to get pics of the big cats that can OUT RUN THE HELICOPTER.
Anyway.... sorry to make more of a bs thread out of this, but I'm new...

And one more thing, I think I was the only Check out of 100 boats that day.:thumb:

Sooner or later I'm gonna get the cover off my 1978 Convincor 19' and post some pics of it. I have always loved that boat!!!!
