Memorial Day Plans

Just wondering where everyone is headed for Memorial. I'll be at Lake Havasu. Staying at Sandpoint Marina.

Hey Glake, sounds like you have a plan for the holiday. I'm thinkin that the Mrs and myself will be out in force at the lake. With the price of fuel I don't think the Mate is going to see much combat. Last weekend we went straight to the anchor spot. Came home with 3/4 of a tank of fuel and a killer sunburn, one of the worst in my life, was sick for a day or so. Now I have to figure out how to put a top on the Mate so we can catch some shade at times. Lookin forward to a little open wheel racing on the holiday weekend too. Think I'm gonna have to get one of those cool Checkmate hats for my head. For some reason the hair on my head is getting thinner as I grow older, Can't figure this out, doesn't seem right.

Staying local with the wife and kids. We've got a great spot on a little beach in a shaded cove where the kids can play and we can stay out of the sun. Between the price of gas for the boat and diesel for the truck I'm not travelling too much this summer.

Awesome! I just made camping reservations for Big Bear Lake at the end of June for some jeeping, now you made me think I should take the boat too and make it a double trip!

Would like to check out the meet at Cumberland but it is too much of a road trip from here. Hopin to see some pics of it though.

Memorial Day

I will be at Big Bear Lake. I hope that it is better weather than last weekend. Sunday temp 35 degrees with 25 mph winds, fog, snow and rain, all at the same time. I should have stayed home in Los Angeles.

I'll be on the Columbia River. Most likely the Wanapum or Priest Rapids reservoirs. However, I make take it out to Mardon Resort/Potholes area near Moses Lake.

@Slick maybe see ya up on the river got a friends with places at desert aire and sunland, haven't desided yet if I'm going east or hitting the Sound. Have a great weekend.

Probley Saratoga Lake or Mohawk River or Both... They claim gas prices are going to drop this week... We'll see... Gas up, the bills can wait:bounce:

Staying home and having a cookout on my pond and getting ready for Lake Norman meet the following weekend.

I've got reservations for the end of June at Holloway's Marina. Going Jeeping, not boating. I've never boated on the lake. How is it?
