hey guy's my outlook express is effed up or i would just ask the guys at the inline newsgroup, but i can't so here goes. I have a 1980 in 6 90 horsepower with the later model ignition but the old power trim setup, the stickers are blue, is this a propshaft rated 90 or powerhead rated 90, also i have a 115 i was told was an 83 that has the later model power trim, fuel enrichener instead of choke, electronic ignition and brown stickers, i was told that this was a propshaft rated 115, is any of this true? thanx

pretty sure they are both crank rated - i don't think they started prop shaft rating till the mid eighties

Yeah that motor is probably more in the 75-80HP a the prop. The brown motor should be at the prop making it more like the old 140/150, They were the same motor just couldn't have a 150 inline and 150 V-6 at the same time.
