Might be selling my 1990 220 vision :o( !!! (Sold)

well it looks like I might be getting laid off at the end of the year and might have to sell the boat. I have a 1990 vision 220 with a 350 engine and 270 HP. the boat goes 60mph all day long. This thing is in great shape and is a bow rider, yes a bowrider, it has the walk through glass up to 2 seats and fits 8 people on it. I don't want to get rid of it but it's paid for and I will for sure be able to use the money. I think I am going to ask $9400 for it just because it is exceptionaly clean. It is light yellow with black trim and has the bright yellow interior with the checkmate logo's in black on them. I will try and post pictures if anybody is interested. Please e-mail me at jpomante@lear.com for any other questions.

yamanator,

Sorry to hear about the lay off woes. That sucks. Hang in there are hopefully things will work themselves out.

can somebody add pictures to this for me ?
I don't think I have the permissions to do so.
If some one can, send me an e-mail and I'll send the pictures back. My e-mail is jpomante@lear.com

Thanks for the help.

If you bring home another Checkmate that needs paint I will have to get the guest bedroom ready for you.

Nice boat but they didn't make Light Yellow. Its faded yellow. Checkmate got a batch of bad Gelcoat from their supplier and had lots of these comeing back for repaints. Must have missed this one. I wish I had the cash for this also.

yamanator, email me some contact info and I'll post it on my site for you.

Yeah, I love it but the job is not looking to good right now. We just laid off a bunch of people in our other building and mine is next in line. I hope I can stick around for awhile.
Does anybody know of somebody either in the Houghton Lake area or southeast area of michigan where I can get a price on a paint job ? I have the money right now to do it and I think I could get a lot more for the boat if it were done. Thanks for any replies.

I just seen posting for yellow checkmate for sale. I believe it was my first boat. Did you buy it from Kunkel,s marine. I seen it on rte 309 several times on my way to marion , ohio then it disappeared. Were the bad boy,s eyes still on it when you bought it. I always liked the color combination.
