Mobile friendly?

Does anyone know if this site has any plans to make it Mobile friendly. For example I am on my phone much more than a pc. Some web sites have two setting but I do not see it available here. Jw.

I've played around with some various templates to see if we could make the site more mobile friendly and they all had too many issues.

There are also some 3rd party companies like Tapatalk that we could try using, but many of them seem to charge fees and then in some cases they also want to add their own advertising as they see fit. But truthfully, I'm going by memory from a year or so ago, which is when I last looked at this.

So we really haven't found a viable solution, but we can always look at any suggestions people have.

Currently, I'm waiting for a different forum software provider to come out with their new version and hopefully we can move to that platform. Their software comes somewhat mobile friendly by default.

Tapatalk pulled the plug on our site and it always had issues anyway so we used a different company.
Still not the best.
There always seems to be some sort of glitch that someone isn't happy with a mobile app.

That's what I've found as well - unfortunately.

There are some other forum software packages out there other than vBulletin that are responsive designs which are just inherently mobile friendly. xenForo is one example. Their current version is quite good, but it is missing a number of features we use here.

They're working on version 2 of their software and once that's released officially, we'll take a good look at moving to that. :)

If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm always open to looking at them.

This site works fine on my iPhone, and other sites that have the mobile selection I usually switch over to full because I'm not happy with the mobile versions
