Hello Guys,
OK, so I've decided to take the advice on mounting speakers on the padded panels on the sides of my rear bench. They could use a recovering anyhow, so why not.
Problem is that they have about 1" of foam padding between the backing board and the vinyl. - I'm not sure how to mount the speakers - compress the foam and put the speakers right over the vinyl, cut the foam out and let the vinyl wrinkle? I'm at a loss!!
It's a good spot for them, they should sound pretty good there for open air speakers on a fiberglass "bell". I'd get marine speakers 'cause they'll see some moisture and alot of sun.
I've seen pictures of speakers mounted there, but I have no idea how to do it. Let me know what you guys think - Thanks!!!
