Lee Dashielle, whos video company is Osprey HD, did this interview for me about 3 years ago. I guess he got bored over the holiday, because he finally finished editing it for me. In it, I talk about the Liberator and mainly the 21ft. I think he did a great job. I just wished I had the 30 footer back then. Now I need to get a Checkmate one done! Here's the link.

BOW-RIDERS= FAMILY DORK BOATS:lol::lol::lol:
randy, you have to put that in text so i can have a new quote from you!!!!
I LOVE IT:bigthumb:

Family dork boat? What's that hunk of scrap metal BR has then? :rof:
I always call pontoons the Mini-vans of the water, super practical, tons of space... just missing something. No offense Red haha.

Well, I kinda got caught with my pants down with that statement. I was actually refering to all the 4 and 6 cylinder, snub nose, Gayliner type bowrider boats that I see around here. If ya gotta have a bowrider, there's no doubt that the Checkmate is the coolest. I personally would never own a bowrider. It just isn't me! Niether is a minivan, moped, Toyota Camry, or a bicycle. I don't have kids, don't bring the dog with me (to scratch up my boat) or need to haul my grandma around in front so she can see all the pretty big houses on the shoreline at 25 mph. Just gonna be me and the wife, driving fast (as she will let me) and trying to look cool. When I run a Checkmate, it will always be a closed deck! If I bring guests, they all know WE AIN"T GONNA BE GOING SLOW!!! If they don't like it, stay on the dock! You don't buy a Checkmate for basic boating.

It's not how fast you are, it's how fast you look!

Well done Randy. I have see the flamer boat up close and personal. We where at a boat get together back in 2001 I think. Had to run across this lake to the other side where the wind was calm. I was running the trimate for everything she was worth aired out, trimed up and flying at 70 mph. Was having to drive the hell out of it due to the water conditions. Here comes Randy and the flamer 21 liberator. Went by us with one hand on the wheel and waved. I met up with him at the event. He was just cruising at 90. What a great day that was.

I have owned 3 closed deck Checkmates, I like my toon its a change of pace for a bit. Its relaxing not having to worry about spilling a beer, bumping a dock, or stupid people with shoes on, or scratching the paint.

The last season I ran my Convincor I got so anal about people in my boat, that I would only let one other person go with me. I will own another performance boat but I am taking a break for a bit.

:thumb: Cool video wildman, you got the point across

Pontoons, bowrider, and Camrys are great for some people. Just not me. There's nothing wrong with them. I have had the name WILDMAN for 35 years for a reason. I'm calmer now though.

Yea! and you clean up pretty good too! Around here I'm pretty much known as CRASH for a reason! At least one of us is "LIVIN THE DREAM" keep it up'

:cheers: From one DINK to another!
