That's cool find man, i remember that issue and probably still have it somewhere, i subscribed to Hot Boat from the early 90's right up to it's demise. Maybe one of these days i'll dig out the boxes and see what i got lol!

I was just getting ready to send in a old subscription card to renew, when I read a post on here that they went belly up ~( I was so HOT!!!)~, you know I don't even know if they finished sending my old subscription now that I think about it..~ hmmmmmm~
Oh well...........
the speed was a bit off. Its more like 56mph at 5000 rpm's

Yeah, they didn't finish sending my subscription either, or anybody elses, just went away with no warning. Kinda sad really, i loved Hot Boat. But, check out Performance Boats magazine, it's run by several of the Hot Boat old-timers and is pretty much a clone of the older Hot-Boat issues with a customs section, reader rides, tech columns ect. In fact, last month there was an artical writen by Doug Smith about his take over at Checkmate which was a good read!!
