So, a couple of us got together today on the Delaware. Demag had a borrowed boat that was overheating and him and Ramifications had chillun's with them so they spent most of the day anchored off the beach.

I had the Enforcer fully fixed, engine broken in and the new hatch installed..

Went out buzzing around and ran into this guy in a Starflite I'd never seen before..

So I told him he should swing by later downriver and come meet a few other Checkies. Then headed back downriver to the boys...IMG_1528_zps5758e11d.jpg
So a little while later who should show up but Brian and his Flite.

Who hung for a while (R to L) Brian, Spencer(Ramifications), Bruce, (Demag), Sim(sim).

nice pics sim, good to see your boat is running great. got pissed at backup boat #2 and went home to rip everything apart only to find out I was touching wrong side of the boat :brickwall:. oh well it will be fixed for next trip out. hopefully we do another trip out before end of season. can't wait for next year for the mate to be on the water again.

Gotta make that trip...I've towed boats all over the country side for fish and a chance to take a picture with a fish. A pic in front of Lady Liberty would be awesome! I've been saying this for a couple years now...time to make it happen. Next spring?
 
Thanks for the pics Sim! I unfortunately didn't take a single pic - between getting anchored up, setup, constantly moving the boat back towards the beach with the incoming tide and watching the little ones, I totally forgot.

It was a nice day on the water and was great catching up with everyone. Hopefully we can get in a couple more days before the season is over.

If anybody heads out on the river let me know. Back up boat is fixed and trying to get a little bit of boating in before it gets too cold. Went out today and water was still warm.
