Up for bid is a 1993 Checkmate 171 Pulse with 1996 2.5 litre Mercury 175 h.p. I have owned this boat for 7 years and will greatly miss it as im trading to a more family style deck boat. This boat is great for waterskiing, cruising or a day at the beach. It seats 5 comfortably although I have had 6 people aboard several times. The removable ski pylon makes it easy on the skiier to pull themselves out of the water and helps to get big air for a wakeboarder. The boat comes complete with garmin G.P.S., depthfinder, tachometer, fuel guage, water pressure guage, 2 batteries with on, off, both switch, compass, automatic bilge pump, running lights,horn and mooring cover. New in 2008 was a brand new trim motor ($1500). New for 2009 is a sony c.d. player and (2) 6" sony weatherproof speakers. I just changed the water pump, spark plugs and thermostats. Everything on this boat is fully operational, I doubt you will find another 171 with so many extras. The engine runs excellent, STARTS EVERY TIME. The only negatives of the boat are after years of sun the black paint has some oxidation as shown in the more recent pictures. The rear bench seat also has some wear but as a whole the boat is a great package. It also comes complete with 2000 EZLOADER trailer. The boat is located in Freeport NY 11520 in the water but can also be viewed on the trailer if you wish. I will demo the boat to anyone PRIOR to the close of the auction. Also feel free to bring your mechanic by as long as it is PRIOR to close of auction. Read my feedback, I have only had 100% satisfied customers!The Girls in the photo are not part of the auction.
