re riggin the 2800sx....

thanks for the video!

i remember cruisin through there...that was about 4800-5000 rpm....tabs down a bit ...i forgot my handheld gps so i still dont know what kinda speeds im seein. right now. i can only get the 26 hydromotives to 6100-6200 rpm heavy on fuel, gear and passengers....ive got the choppers on today and gonna try em out if the weather holds off. they should be alot faster according to the folks "in the know"

that was a great day of boating.

max you may have to try a 28p if you are turning 61 6200. I don't think them motors really make power up there. a 28p 3 blade might be nice also.

Hey max I had I great time and the 2800 ran awesome! We're gonna try and make it down there soon. If not will definitely be down there for poker run. Your also always welcomed to come to the house and go out on Herrington lake. Taking the dealer my 200 mariner to have it put on the toon soon to get it back on the water and the ol lady off my a$$ for tearing up the 250. Lol!

6700? Did you put another set of motors on there.

I was wondering the same thing..but I've also seen 6700+ rpm with my 2.4's when trimmed too high..Max's motors are higher than mine which may equate to the xtra rpm and mph...I'm running consistantly 6300-6400 rpm at 71 MPH turning 26 pitch choppers..

In the 8 or 9 years I owned them I would have never thought they would have turned that. I could see 6300 but not 6700. I never ran them over 6100.

guys is that too many rpm???

they will go 6600-6700 rpm with no problems....

the hydromotives only went to about 6100-6200.....but they are 15.5" 4 blades.....

the boat is def hauling ass to only have 200s on it....im happy as ****.... lol

Max, 6600-6700 in right on the money where those motors make horsepower! I think you're set up perfectly with the motor height, prop size and speed! I think the only reason I'm slightly slower is because my props are deeper in the water.

man thats awesome! i was afraid i may have been over revving em.

remember that my lowers are 2.0 ratio also....so that may be a part of the reason for the higher rpm.....

you will def gain some rpm and speed by raising your x. it made my boat handle better as well....
